We hope you are all keeping well after three months of lock down. Now, with the easing of some of the restrictions, businesses and organisations are looking at how the government guidelines allow them to re-open whilst keeping everyone safe.
The Club Committee continue to be busy drawing up risk assessments and Covid-19 risk assessment, as required by legislation, in preparation for the further easing of lock down.
Also, in readiness for re-opening, the outside of the building has been repainted and other necessary repair and decoration work is being undertaken by volunteers. Thank you everybody.
We are incredibly grateful that Matt has kept our Monday night Quiz going – online – throughout this lock down. Details of how to join in can be found on our website.
Despite the Club being closed, many members have renewed their memberships. We are most appreciative of this, as it greatly helps our cashflow at this difficult time. Details of how to do this can be found on our website.
Unfortunately, the decision has been made that the Harvest Home Auction, which is held at the end of September, is unable to go ahead in its usual form this year. Not wanting a year to be missed out of this unique event, 69 years this year, there are plans to do something else to raise a few pounds for the RNLI. So, please watch this space …..
May the sun continue to shine brightly when we are permitted to re-open.
In the meantime – KEEP CALM AND TAKE CARE.
