Community Library Notes – May 2021

How good it was to be back with the Coffee Morning in May, albeit that we were all still out of doors. And thanks to Anne, Tim and Fran for their cheerful table service. Happily the rain held off and only started to spit as we tidied away. Many thanks to those who turned up; it is very encouraging and we hope to see many more of you in June for coffee, cake, jigsaws and books. We plan to be inside as the health regulations continue to be eased. However, this is still uncertain, so please be aware of whatever rules might be in place at the time, which will almost certainly include mask-wearing.

We would also like you to bring along your lockdown craft projects so that we can all see how we have each been keeping ourselves busy. We might spark some ideas off each other, so don’t be shy — ‘Show and Tell’. Others’ ideas and skills are so interesting to all of us, not to mention amazing.

We’ll be back in our usual Coffee Morning slot of the first Wednesday of the month, 10 – 12, Wednesday 2nd June. Hope to see you there, complete with handiwork.

Important P.S. Ore library has reopened as a Community Library with a stock of over 4,000 titles. Current opening days/hours: Tues, Thurs, Sat, 10.00 – 16.00. More volunteers required. http://www.orecommunitylibrary.org
