Increase in Vehicle Crime
We have seen an increase in reports of vehicle crime across Hastings & Rother. The Hollington area of Hastings is one area which has seen a significant increase. Most of these crimes are opportunist as folks have left personal belongings on display when leaving their vehicle. Handbags, coats, cameras, sat navs, computers and loose change are some of the items that have been recently stolen from cars. Offenders have been breaking car windows to get to the items that have been left on display. Please save the heartbreak of becoming a victim of crime and take personal belongings with you.
