Village Voices – July 2018 Update

Our local community choir has been busy recently with songs from musicals and others. We have just performed at Grosvenor Care Home in St Leonards where we entertained the residents with our music and all enjoyed themselves, us included.! We have been asked to return in November to mark the end of WW1.

We are just getting ready for Fairfest, where hopefully you will see us.

In August we are singing at MOPPs, which is always good to do and they usually spoil us afterwards!

We will be having a break from rehearsals throughout August and restarting on September 3rd when new members are welcome to join us; Monday evenings,   7-30pm at Pett Methodist Church, Subs £1-50.

Village Voices is the local community choir for anybody who enjoys singing and meets most Mondays at Pett Methodist Chapel. Musical experience or knowledge is not important. We aim to have fun through singing and, in doing so, stretch ourselves and improve. If you are not sure that your voice or musicality isn’t good enough, do not worry. We want people who can enjoy singing!

We start at 7-30pm and sing for an hour. Subs = £1.50.

Two visits are planned to Grosvenor House retirement home. The first being on July 12th and the November 10th.

We will then put in an appearance at Fairfest on July 29th. Don’t miss us! Then a visit to MOPPs on 31st August.

All new members are welcome as always.
