Project Edward

This month we took part in Project EDWARD (Every Day Without A Road Death).  In addition to routine roads policing, local officers have been busy improving driving behaviour through education engagement and enforcement. As part of this activity officers conducted speed checks alongside local Community Speedwatch groups in locations around Rother and were joined by East Sussex Fire and Rescue in supporting the project and its theme this year of ‘Fit For The Road’.

Smart Water Forensic Marking

This month officers invited members of the community for free forensic smart water marking for catalytic converters, as well as providing crime prevention advice to help people to protect their catalytic converter. More dates for smart water marking are to be confirmed.
